Annual Report 2023-2024!

Welcome to 2025! Here at CASA for Kids Inc., we have started a yearly tradition of sharing our financials, case closures, and other events from the previous year. In short, we had a fantastic year! We served 132 children, most of whom returned home successfully or stayed in their homes throughout their cases. Financially, we had a good year growing our endowment funds. Lastly, we have had an enormous year with our outreach efforts! 

In 2024, our advocates spent 2,165 hours advocating for children in Barry, Eaton, and Ingham counties! This past year, 41 active Advocates took cases, advocating for 132 children! We plan to increase the number of CASA advocates each year to support all the children referred to our program. Stay tuned to our social media and email newsletter for upcoming events! 

Our endowment fund grew in the last fiscal year! What is an Endowment Fund, I hear you asking? Think of this fund as a rainy day fund for CASA for Kids Inc. This fund is there, so if anything happens to our funding, we will have funds to draw from while we secure other funding sources. We received our most significant contribution to this fund from our Year End Giving campaigns in 2024! Stay tuned for our 35 Hours of Giving campaign that seeks to increase this endowment fund. 

Our outreach efforts have been tremendous this last year! This is a newer part of our CASA for Kids team. This part of our CASA for Kids team is responsible for our social media posts, blog, updates to our website, events in the community, and general recruiting efforts. Since this team has been introduced, we have attended 43 events in the community in 2024. That is an average of one event every nine days! Through these efforts, we gained 46 new people receiving our monthly newsletter. 

In short, 2024 was a massive year for us at CASA for Kids Inc.! As we step into 2025, we are filled with gratitude for our advocates' dedication, our supporters' generosity, and the strength of the children and families we serve. Our progress in 2024 sets the stage for an even more impactful year ahead.
